Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Management in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor access points, verify badges, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will use computers or tablets to document activity, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when required.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
