Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, document observations, and communicate professionally with visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: 20.15 / Hour

Age Requirement: All candidates must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for employment. This requirement is in place to comply with legal regulations and company policies.

Experience

• Candidates must possess a minimum of six months of relevant security experience prior to employment. This experience should be verifiable and relevant to the position for which the candidate is applying.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and members of the public at a government-operated retail and administrative location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, offices, storage areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials or authorization as required by site procedures and document observations, incidents, and completed patrols.
• Support orderly operations by reporting hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
