As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will primarily drive through assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while documenting activity using computer or tablet tools. A valid driver’s license is required. Pay Rate: $22.70 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and pedestrian activity in accordance with community policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, and noteworthy observations in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site management and/or appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
