As a Security Officer Part Time Entry Control in North Canton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents through a professional presence. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and assist with directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, business operations, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
