As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Through clear communication, professional customer service, and attention to security-related procedures, you will help deter incidents while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Job Schedule: DayTime Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor and contractor entry, and direct authorized personnel and delivery traffic in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, communicating relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
