Job title: Security Officer Part Time Badge Issuance
What You'll Do
-
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.

Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Document incidents, observations, and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
