Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Professional supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering professional customer service. This role requires an armed guard card or license and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Mon08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, following established visitor-management and restricted-area procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policy, and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control/badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
