As a Security Officer - Overnight Driver in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to support daily operations through teamwork, reliability, and integrity in a caring, people-first culture.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access at assigned entry points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor arrivals, and directing authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity, coordinate access for deliveries and pickups, and report irregular activity or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating relevant details to Allied Universal leadership and/or client contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
