As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driving Role in Pflugerville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, assisting with visitor direction, access control procedures, and communication with appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
