Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Westlake, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. This driving post combines customer service, clear communication, and professional response to site needs. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.

• Prepare clear, accurate reports and shift documentation regarding patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
