Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Oxford, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site personnel and emergency responders when needed.

• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• CPR certification is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
