About the Role The Security Officer is a full-time, non-exempt position within Loyola University Chicago’s Campus Safety department. The role’s primary purpose is to maintain a safe environment for the University community through patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking lots, off-campus facilities, and nearby city streets as needed. Based at the Rogers Park-Lake Shore Campus, the officer will conduct foot and vehicular patrols and respond to safety incidents in alignment with the University’s Jesuit mission.
What You'll Do
- Patrol campus buildings, grounds, parking lots, off-campus facilities, and surrounding city streets by foot and by vehicle to maintain a secure environment.
- Monitor safety conditions, enforce campus policies, and respond to safety incidents as assigned.
