Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Security in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, clear reporting, and teamwork. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business offices, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.

• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and/or suspicious behavior.

• Prepare accurate, timely reports and maintain required activity logs, documenting incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
