About the Role Live Nation Concerts is seeking a Security Officer to guard, patrol, and monitor venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions. The role may operate metal detector equipment and requires prompt responses to security and safety-related calls. This role supports patrons, employees, and assets across Live Nation venues. What You'll Do
- Guard, patrol, and monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions.
- Conduct regular building patrols.
- Respond to security and safety-related calls promptly.
- May operate metal detector equipment.
- Exhibit exemplary conduct and appearance on duty.
- Comply with department performance, conduct, and attendance standards.
- Perform a variety of duties, often switching tasks without loss of efficiency.
- Follow instructions from Security Supervisors and Manager of Security.
- Adhere to Security department policies and procedures.
- Investigate and compile accurate incident reports.
- Complete assigned tasks within guidelines and deadlines.
- Interact courteously with patrons, vendors, and employees.
- Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current valid CA Guard card or PPSO required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- An understanding of the rule of law and the relevant penal codes.
- Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner.
- Ability to effectively perform in crises and work under pressure without the loss of composure.
- Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information.
- Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons and employees during intensely aggravated circumstances.
