Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate incident and shift documentation.

Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
