Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Support Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related needs. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, access points, and surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, facility representatives, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.

• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.

• CPR certification is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
