What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.

• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
