As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration in Concord, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a professional, welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $25.45 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at the front desk of a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or delivery records and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including initiating appropriate emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
