Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol HOA in Calabasas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring access points, verifying visitors, documenting activity, and providing exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: 26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit at residential community access points, verifying visitor authorization and documenting vehicle, guest, and vendor information in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents and visitors regarding access requirements, directions, parking guidelines, and community policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
