Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 09:00 AM - 07:00 PM Wed 09:00 AM - 07:00 PM Thu 09:00 AM - 07:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to government facility personnel, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting visitor activity and reporting access-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
