Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to site needs, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $15.76 / Hour

Weekly Pay

Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, spills, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
