Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Observation in Moore, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service. You will communicate professionally, support security-related operations, and use technology to document activities. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity or access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete reports according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site personnel and emergency responders, and follow established escalation procedures for security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
