Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Hospital Patrol Driver in Mayfield Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a healthcare location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor access procedures, directions, and compliance with facility policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccinations are required for hospital assignments.
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to restrain individuals is required for hospital assignments.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
