Pay Rate: $26.80 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Thur 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Fri 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Sat 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.

• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.

• Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with campus personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• CPR certification is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
