Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Credential Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government port location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government port location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, waterfront-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access-control concerns according to site procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public-service agencies when directed.

Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to the incoming officer and site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
