Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time in Janesville, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the retail location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vendor entry, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site leadership and emergency services as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access records related to visitors, deliveries, vendors, and unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, receiving areas, sales-floor access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
