Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in Advance, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate professionally, observe and report concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $14.25 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at a local government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of municipal buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization as directed by site policies and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, public-service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
