Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government services location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to staff and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government human services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures and direct individuals to appropriate public service areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
