As a Security Officer Full Time NYS Patrol Assurance in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. Pay Rate: 17.87 - 18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Wed 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Thu 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Fri 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Sat 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report suspicious conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with facility staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
