Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Morning in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
