Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Response Driver in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, construction areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.

• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and deliveries, and documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.

• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.

• Supervisory experience is required.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
