Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Campus Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, outdoor spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel; complete clear and accurate activity and incident reports.
• Assist with access control, directions, campus events, and other security-related support duties while maintaining a professional presence in a higher education environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
