Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Identity Enrollment in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing visitor and resident access, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a visible presence that helps deter incidents. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorization for visitors and service providers, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle access records.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, amenities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Communicate professionally with residents, property management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access issues, incidents, and unusual activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
