Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Evening Shifts in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team culture grounded in integrity and innovation.

Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: 19.61 per Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
