As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing site access, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems to support access procedures while remaining visible to help deter incidents. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor registrations, and authorization for entry.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records; issue and retrieve access badges and keys in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
