As a Security Officer Full Time - Church in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location, including buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly, welcoming environment during worship services, educational programs, community events, and other scheduled activities.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
