Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Business Property in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.

• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.

• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, or policy violations according to site procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.

• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
