Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Perimeter Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic food and beverage location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, warehouse or production areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document entries, deliveries, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
