Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Monitor in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Thu 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology workplace by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
