Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Patrol in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.

• Monitor access points and vehicle entry and exit activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining required logs and documentation.

• Support the orderly flow of operations by observing conditions throughout the location and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
