As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter incidents. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Observe entry points, common areas, and access control systems, reporting unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and equipment concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, interior areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
