As an Access Control Officer at a transportation location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a transportation facility.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to unauthorized access attempts, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, building perimeters, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and facility conditions in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
