Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Bristol, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri12:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat08:00 AM - 08:00 PM Sun08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a government transportation location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
• Monitor access activity, verify visitor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with the public and site representatives, provide directions or assistance as appropriate, and report maintenance, traffic, or facility-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
