Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Control in SEGUIN, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and help deter unauthorized access through a visible presence. Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thu 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and assist with controlling entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility entrances, perimeter locations, and parking areas, to help identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate reports and documentation related to access activity, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
