Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Control in Grantsville, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and timely reporting. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access credentials, and maintain accurate access and visitor records.
• Control access for personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and vendors in accordance with facility procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry to restricted production, warehouse, and administrative areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
