Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Threat Detection in Miami, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, access points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.

• Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to the appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
