Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Governance in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Your visible presence, clear communication, and attention to detail will help deter security-related incidents while supporting smooth operations. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery or pickup documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and/or shipment access records and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
