As a Security Officer Community Shelter Patrol in North Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.09 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a government facility.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and provide directions or assistance in accordance with site procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.

• Prepare accurate activity reports and promptly communicate incidents, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of service experience in a healthcare or medical-related field.

• Possess at least five years of security-related experience.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
