Security Officer - Clearance Required - Unarmed

About the Role Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed) at Allied Universal in El Segundo, CA. This role involves protecting personnel, property, and information on a DoD-cleared site, with specialized training for clearance levels. You will perform site patrols, greet and escort visitors, follow post orders, and respond to alarms and emergencies. What You'll Do

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable security experience
• DoD position appropriate level security clearance
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws
• Must possess one or more of the following: Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site; prior military experience; effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; exceptional customer service skills; intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites Nice to Have
• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field Compensation & Benefits
