Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol in Orangeburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. This armed post requires an Armed Guard Card or License and offers the opportunity to support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
